Penny Black Challenge - Flowers

Hi everyone,

I was chatting not so long ago about this stamp, saying I hadn't really been happy with the way I've coloured it in the past, but this time I'm happy. I think I was using too much colour before so I've chosen a softer peach and used my Copic markers. So here it is for this week's PB Challenge.


Any way back to clearing up the garden tomorrow, so no more crafting!

Penny Black Challenge

Hi everyone,

Here is my entry for this great challenge, the '100th Penny Black Challenge'. Lucky for me I had already coloured the cat and stuck in onto the scalloped edge circle. This was originally for the PB Challenge a few weeks ago for Monochromatic Browns, but I never got a chance to finish it! As usual it's great to see all the wonderful creations by the PB Design Team and what other people have made.

The sentiment on the card is by 'Stampin up'. Pop over to Jackie's blog to buy more of these lovely stamps, papers and lots of other great things.

Copic Challenge - apricot, blue and copper

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Easter. What wonderful weather today. I made this card this morning just before taking the kids to the beach. It was lovely and really hot and the kids really enjoyed themselves. This is the first time I have entered a card for the Copic Colour Challenge. I love using these pens so it's a great challenge for me.

Penny Black Challenge -

Hi Everyone,

I haven't been blogging for a long time now but when I saw today's challenge I thought I would put this card on the PB Challenge. I made it a few weeks ago after I bought this stamp at the Stevenage craft show and as it has a little bit of gingham check on it I guess it fits the bill!

Hope you all have a lovely Easter and if you get a chance pop over to Gill's blog who is this month's Guest Designer, she makes some really lovely cards. I would also like to say a big thank you to Tania who left me an award back in November. Your cards are beautiful so it was lovely to get an award from someone so talented.

Christmas - Two Challenges

I'm still trying to get my Christmas cards done so it's great to find a couple of challenges with the theme 'Christmas', 'Everybody Art Challenge' and 'Papertake Weekly'. Here's my little 'Gorguss Girl' with the addition of a santa hat and my new 'forest scene' stamp in the background, the sentiment is a Penny Black stamp. This is amazingly organised for me with my Christmas cards, I'm normally scribbling them out at the last minute! Bye for now,

Whiff of Joy Challenge 56

Here's my card for this week's Whiff of Joy Challenge. I made it a few days ago but I've been busy and the light hasn't been too good for taking photos when I've had the chance. I loved this sketch and I needed to start making my Christmas cards so I thought this would be a good time to start. I've added a tree and some snow to the background to give it a more festive feel! Halloween - Penny Black Challenge

Hello Everyone,

It's been a very long time since I posted anything as I've been busy working on the Stamp Addicts Design Team assignments. Check out the Purple Zone to see my work and the other Design Team member's cards. Anyway, I was delighted to participate in this week's Penny Black Challenge as I love making Halloween cards. I really like the bright vibrant colours you can use. The Penny Black Design Team cards look great. I have only got one PB Halloween Stamp which isn't very big and not really a main feature for a card. So I thought I would adapt one of my other PB stamps to make it fit the bill! I chose this little mouse and drew a hat on it and added a few other little Halloween stamps by Daisy and Dandelion to complete the look. Here's my card... I am looking forward to spending the rest of this afternoon making some more Halloween cards for my family and checking out the other PB challenge cards. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. Penny Black Challenge - Summer

Stamp Addicts Christmas Show - 30th July

It's been a really long time now since I have posted anything on my blog but I have been really busy with the children and making cards for Stamp Addicts for their next TV show. Colour Create Sunday Challenge - Week 15, Blue & Green ...

What a lovely day, I should be planting the plants I bought in the week for my hanging baskets, but when I saw the colours on today's 'Colour Create' challenge I thought, I must use my little 'Lilli of the Valley' dragon stamp. So here he is for his first outing, he's such a cute little fellow...

Colour Create Sunday Challenge - Chocolate, red and cream...

Hi everyone,

Amazing! I managed to get a little more time for crafting today. I love the colours for this week's 'Colour Create' Challenge, Red,chocolate and cream. I nearly used these colours for the PB Challenge on Saturday but changed my mind, so when I saw the colours I knew exactly the papers I would use. I love 'Stampin up' papers as it is so easy to match everything up. Check out Jackie's House of cards. Jackie is a Stampin' up demonstrator. The 'Gorguss girl' is one of my purchases from Ally Pally, I think they're so sweet.

I can't believe how quickly this weekend has gone, I wish it went as quickly when you're at work!

Penny Black Challenge - Week 47 - Shapes

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I haven't had much time for crafting lately so it's good to get back to it today. I had already coloured in the little hedgie earlier in the week with my Copic markers so I couldn't resist using him for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. I have used a rectangle and a circle and punched out some flower shapes and some swirls. So hopefully that covers the 'at least three shapes'. So here's my card...

Stamp Addicts TV show - Post no.4

Hi everyone,

Here's another glimpse at some more cards I made for the Stamp Addicts TV show. I used an acetate window with rain drops on it, though I'm not sure you can see them in this photo. With the next card, I masked the girl and stamped her three times. I used one of the flower stamps that came with this set of unmounted stamps to add necklaces to two of them and flowers on the other girl's top. She also comes with the text 'love' and 'peace' as well as 'save the world', also the little sleeping bunny. Hope you're all having a fun weekend in this lovely sunshine. Michele x

Another peek at what to expect on the Stamp Addicts TV show on Monday....

Here's another peek at some of the cards I made for Monday's TV show. Again, I have used the rain girl, but this time she's wearing her rain hat. I added some ties on it with some thread. I used diamond glase on her raincoat and hat and wellies to add shine. The other one is the little football girl who also comes with assessories, drink bottle and football and whistle and text.
